Kyle Laramie – President
After working in the field of occupational therapy, as well as various marketing, sales and management roles for both private duty nursing and assisted living providers, Kyle founded Veterans Care Coordination™ in April 2011. As president and owner of VCC, Kyle is driven by the memory of his grandfather. A World War II veteran, he unnecessarily missed out on essential VA benefits because Kyle’s family simply did not know about the opportunities that were available to assist him in his golden years.
Under Kyle’s leadership, Veterans Care Coordination™ has become one of the fastest growing senior service companies in the United States. Partnering with health care providers throughout the U.S., VCC serves more than 1000 clients in 45 states. The company currently employs more than 65 professionals.
In January 2014, Kyle was named to the St. Louis Business Journal’s prestigious “40 Under 40” list. The St. Louis Small Business Monthly also named him as one of the “100 St. Louisans to Know” in 2014. In 2015, Kyle was selected as one of ten national finalists for the 2015 Glenn Shepard Leadership Award. In addition, in September 2013, Veterans Care Coordination™ was honored by the St. Louis Small Business Monthly as one of the “Top 20” small businesses in the St. Louis area, in 2014 the company was honored as a finalist for the Arcus Awards and by the St. Louis Post Dispatch for being a Top Workplace.
He is a frequent speaker on the topic of veterans’ benefits, addressing conferences such as the Home Care Association of America and the Northeast Home care Conference. Kyle currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Mid-East Area Agency on Aging and has been previously involved with the St. Louis Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. He resides in Lake St. Louis, Mo. with his wife and twin boys. In his spare time, Kyle is an avid tennis player.
Shea Peffly – Vice President
As vice president of Veterans Care Coordination™, Shea is responsible for carrying out the company’s mission and vision by maximizing operating performance, ensuring superior customer service and implementing strategic business growth initiatives. Shea has over twenty years’ experience in business management and operations roles including product and strategic sales development. She is a graduate of Memphis State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in music.
Shea takes pride not only in achieving company initiatives and goals, but also in honoring her family and the other great men and women who have served their country. Shea’s father, stepfather, grandfather, uncle and nephew are all veterans. She believes it is both a privilege and honor to advocate daily on behalf of veterans and surviving spouses to obtain the benefits they’ve earned. When not at work, Shea enjoys spending time with her family.
Lynn Miller –Sales Operations Manager
Lynn has the role of Sales Operations Manager with Veterans Care Coordination™. Lynn has more than 15 years of management, quality assurance, sales and service experience. Lynn is passionate about helping Veterans. Her father and uncle both served in the Army.
Lynn earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Fontbonne University. When not at work, Lynn enjoys spending time with her husband of 20 years and her (very energetic) son, Logan.
Melissa Brown - Client Operations Manager
Melissa is the Client Operations Manager at Veterans Care Coordination. She is originally from San Diego, California. Melissa has a Bachelor’s degree from Southeast Missouri State University, a Master’s degree from National Louis University in Chicago, and is a Doctoral candidate at Lindenwood University.
Before VCC, Melissa worked as an operational manager in the private education industry for over 14 years.
Melissa’s father is a retired Lieutenant Commander from the United States Navy, and both of her grandfathers served in the Army Air Corps in World War II. Melissa spends her spare time with her son, Patrick.
